After getting from the Technical Education And Skills Development Authority or TESDA Certificate 4 which the highest certificate awarded to a Culinary course in the country, Llana received another certificate from TESDA this time NC II – a national certificate given to qualified culinary graduates for working abroad.
The thrust of TESDA is to formulate a comprehensive development program for middle-level manpower based on the National Technical Education and Skills Development Plan. It aims to provide for a reformed industry-based training program including apprenticeship, dual training system and other parallel schemes. It is the result of a merger of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) and other government bureaus.
